Amanda Lewin is taking part in this year’s I’m an Engineer Get Me Out of Here!
I’m an Engineer is like school lessons meet the X Factor! School students choose which engineer gets a prize of £500 to communicate their work.
Engineers and students talk on the website. They both break down barriers, have fun and learn. But only the students get to vote on who wins the £500 prize to be spent on STEM projects.
Amanda will be taking part in the detection zone which runs from the 17th to 28th of June, talking about fire detection systems and Building Services as a whole. If she wins the money will be donated to the STEM programme at the Museum of Science and Industry.
Good luck Amanda!
