  • Energy and Carbon Management

Parker Wilson Sustain have a proven track record in supporting organisations of varying sizes with carbon reporting and carbon management plans. Carbon management planning requires an understanding of an organisation’s operations, as well practical knowledge of how these operations impact on energy use and carbon emissions.

In producing a carbon management plan we would survey existing building stock, assess operations and undertake modelling, including dynamic Simulation modelling where appropriate, to establish potential areas for improvements in efficiency.

Carbon Savings

Carbon Reduction Commitment

The UK Government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) requires all companies with half-hourly metering to report their annual energy consumption and carbon emissions. These emissions must then be accounted for via the surrender of purchased carbon ‘allowances’.

Parker Wilson Sustain can assist in data management and collection, including the implementation of improved data handling systems, as well as production of Annual Reports and Evidence Packs.

Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting

Parker Wilson Sustain have undertaken Mandatory Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting for multi-national organisations with varied operations across the world. All reporting is undertaken in line with the internationally recognised Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. Final reports are typically formatted for inclusion in Annual Directors’ Reports.

The information for Mandatory GHG Reporting requires data to be collected across an organisation’s international activities to include:

Transport Emissions

Building Energy Use

Refrigeration Use

Spills and Accidental Releases

Waste and Recycling

Embodied Carbon

Parker Wilson Sustain can undertake data collection, processing and report writing. Using video conferencing and online ‘webinars’ we can support your international team in identifying, locating and processing the data required by the GHG Protocol for their area of responsibility.
